I purchased this for my 18 month old when we visited the in-laws in Atlanta. He slept in this with no problem. The only thing is I wish that the company also sold fitted sheets for this item as regular sheets don't fit it. If your child is a restless sleeper, you may find that whatever sheet you used is crumbled up in a corner. Other than that, it was an absolutely great buy. It packs up tiny!

I bought one of these for my daughter and travel. The size and weight of this product when collapsed is remarkable. If you don't mind the low ceiling, the thing has nearly as much space as a pack-n-ply at a tiny fraction of the weight. Open the travel bag and the tent part basically pops open to full size in a half second. Make sure you are in your deployment space as it does not fit through doors all that well.
The blow-up mattress is novel and does not take much breath to fill. However, it poses one major design flaw. Because the mattress inserts into a compartment under the tent, there is no way to put a sheet in the tent as there is no place to "tuck it in". Not a huge fan of my daughter sleeping on nylon so I wrapped the mattress in a crib fitted sheet and stuck back in the tent. Worked fine.
Finally, it is super easy to break down but i defy you to do it the first time without directions. Don't toss them, you will regret it.
Overall, SO MUCH BETTER than all alternatives. Recommended.

This is an incredible product. I only wish that I had purchased it when my baby was even younger so that I could have taken advantage of how convenient it is. We brought this on vacation this long weekend to our friends' house and it was the first time that we had used it. Barely moving the elastic band around the bed made it practically jump from my hands and miraculously land at my feet in perfect assembled form. It fit nicely along side our bed, and the sides gave our son privacy and quiet that simulated him being in his own room and not in ours. When we went to a BBQ that same weekend, we packed it with us (it takes about 15 seconds to fold it back up and it fits perfectly in the carrying case) and when the little one started getting cranky and ready for a nap, we just set it up in a spare room and voila', presto change-o, we had a nap spot that we didn't have to worry about him escaping from (age 15months). I absolutely love this product and would highly recommend it to any parent.

Everything is great about this product, EXCEPT the small detail that it doesn't self inflate!
This may seem like not such a big deal...but after borrowing a friend's peapod that did self-inflate, we immediately sent it back.
It was confusing to figure this out online...the only model that I know of that is this size and also self inflates is the Camo one.
My wife didn't want camo...I did...and I won because of this feature!
BTW, we LOVE the peapod...makes traveling so easy.
My daughter is 16 mnths and loves throwing her blanket out of the crib...and she can't do that in the peapod so she sleeps better.
We've often wondered if she shouldn't always sleep in this instead of her crib!

Needed extra bed for visiting 2 yr.old grandson. It is super easy to pop up into a tent.Need a bicycle pump for the mattress to be blown up.Jackson was hesitant at first, but we lay beside him with his dvd player &he was perfectly happy. His parents are using it at home, to transition him out of their bed in the middle of the night!
